Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any person residing in a prohibited area dies, his legal representative shall, within three days of the death, intimate the death to the Director-General in Form G, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every pass then held; and the Director-General shall enter the intimation in the register within three days of its receipt.
