Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the State Commission for Women in the custody of the District Child Protection Officer, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the State Commission for Women; and where the District Child Protection Officer having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form IV within fifteen days of the succession.
