Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the auditee shall apply to the Directorate of Treasuries in Form GFR 22 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Directorate of Treasuries shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
