Application for registration.—Every lessor of immovable property carrying on the granting of leases shall make an application for registration to the Stamp Revenue Board in Form H, within one hundred and twenty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees and a statement of every franking impression held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for one hundred and eighty days from that date.
