Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the employer of foreigners shall apply to the civil authority in Form C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the civil authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and eighty days of the application.
