Application for registration.—Every political party carrying on the functioning of a political party shall make an application for registration to the Chief Electoral Officer in Form 2A, within ten days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees and a statement of every account of election expenses held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for sixty days from that date.
