Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the merchant banker shall apply to the Investor Protection Fund Trust in Form H for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Investor Protection Fund Trust shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ten days of the application.
