Surrender of certificate.—Every transport operator who ceases to carry on the carriage of goods by road shall, within thirty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Transport Commissioner in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 30 of the manner in which every motor vehicle held by him has been disposed of.
