Application for registration.—Every insurance repository carrying on the holding of policies in electronic form shall make an application for registration to the Council of Insurers in Form IRDA-6, within sixty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees and a statement of every claim held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for seven days from that date.
