Maintenance of premises.—Every insurance repository shall keep the premises where the holding of policies in electronic form is carried on in a clean and orderly condition, shall provide for every certificate of insurance kept there a place set apart for its safe keeping, shall not use the premises for any purpose incompatible with the holding of policies in electronic form, and shall furnish to the Council of Insurers in Form IRDA-2, within seven days of the commencement of these rules, a plan of the premises showing the place so set apart.
