Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the employer of building workers shall apply to the Chief Inspector of Factories in Form VIII for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees, and the Chief Inspector of Factories shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
