Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the goods and services tax practitioner shall apply to the Authority for Advance Ruling in Form GSTR-1 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Authority for Advance Ruling shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
