Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the community mediator shall apply to the Registrar of the Council in Form C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Registrar of the Council shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
