Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the Delimitation Commission in the custody of the Polling Officer, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Delimitation Commission; and where the Polling Officer having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form 17A within three days of the succession.
