Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security in the custody of the Flight Operations Inspector, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security; and where the Flight Operations Inspector having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form CA-4 within fifteen days of the succession.
