Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any owner of a motor vehicle dies, his legal representative shall, within seven days of the death, intimate the death to the Government of Madhya Pradesh in Form 30, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every road tax receipt then held; and the Government of Madhya Pradesh shall enter the intimation in the register within fifteen days of its receipt.
