Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of a fishing vessel shall apply to the Director-General in Form 5 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Director-General shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
