Application for registration.—Every user of a weighing instrument carrying on the use of a weighing instrument in trade shall make an application for registration to the Bureau of Indian Standards in Form H, within forty-five days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees and a statement of every advertisement held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fourteen days from that date.
