Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any user of a weighing instrument dies, his legal representative shall, within fourteen days of the death, intimate the death to the Bureau of Indian Standards in Form A, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every weighing instrument then held; and the Bureau of Indian Standards shall enter the intimation in the register within thirty days of its receipt.
