Surrender of certificate.—Every user of a weighing instrument who ceases to carry on the use of a weighing instrument in trade shall, within fourteen days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Bureau of Indian Standards in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form H of the manner in which every verification certificate held by him has been disposed of.
