Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the landlord letting premises to foreigners shall apply to the passport authority in Form C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand five hundred rupees, and the passport authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within twenty-one days of the application.
