Application for registration.—Every auditee carrying on the submission of accounts for audit shall make an application for registration to the Comptroller and Auditor-General in Form GFR 22, within fourteen days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees and a statement of every account held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for sixty days from that date.
