Application for registration.—Every insurance intermediary carrying on the business of an insurance intermediary shall make an application for registration to the Insurance Information Bureau in Form IRDA-2, within twenty-one days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees and a statement of every cover note held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for thirty days from that date.
