Rule 4, Mines and Geology Department (Under Inspector Of Mines) Recruitment Rules, 2006 [S47-MPP]

Method of recruitment, age limit and other qualifications.—The method of recruitment to the post of Under Inspector Of Mines in the Mines and Geology Department, Government of Puducherry shall be fifty per cent. by direct recruitment and fifty per cent. by promotion; the age limit for direct recruits shall be thirty years, relaxable for Government servants up to five years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Government from time to time; and the essential qualification shall be a Master's degree from a recognised University with two years' experience in the relevant field.
