Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the Juvenile Justice Board in the custody of the Protection Officer, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Juvenile Justice Board; and where the Protection Officer having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form VIII within twenty-one days of the succession.
