Surrender of certificate.—Every transferee who ceases to carry on the transfer of property shall, within thirty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Sub-Registrar in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 3 of the manner in which every document held by him has been disposed of.
