Clause 2, Puducherry Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) (Certificate of occupancy Control) Order, 2026 [S46-BK7]

Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Puducherry Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1973 (Puducherry Act 9 of 1973); (b) "owner of a well on Government land" means a person carrying on the sinking of a well on Government land; (c) "parcel of land" means a parcel of land received, held or disposed of by a owner of a well on Government land in the course of the sinking of a well on Government land; (d) "Form 5" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
