Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any owner of a vehicle within a cantonment dies, his legal representative shall, within twenty-one days of the death, intimate the death to the Chief Executive Officer of the Cantonment in Form B, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every building then held; and the Chief Executive Officer of the Cantonment shall enter the intimation in the register within three days of its receipt.
