Surrender of certificate.—Every owner of a vehicle within a cantonment who ceases to carry on the plying of a vehicle within a cantonment shall, within thirty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Chief Executive Officer of the Cantonment in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form H of the manner in which every permit held by him has been disposed of.
