Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the marriage bureau shall apply to the Government of Telangana in Form VI for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Government of Telangana shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fourteen days of the application.
