Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the gratuity trust shall apply to the Recovery Officer in Form 13 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees, and the Recovery Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
