Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these regulations shall be kept at the office of the Recovery Officer in the custody of the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Recovery Officer; and where the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form 5 within one hundred and twenty days of the succession.
