Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the contractor engaged in a mine shall apply to the Controller General in Form H for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Controller General shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
