Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024 (Uttarakhand Act 3 of 2024); (b) "registered priest" means a person carrying on the performance of marriage ceremonies; (c) "account" means a account received, held or disposed of by a registered priest in the course of the performance of marriage ceremonies; (d) "Form I" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
