Application for registration.—Every owner of a saw mill carrying on the running of a saw mill shall make an application for registration to the Divisional Forest Officer in Form III, within seven days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees and a statement of every waste manifest held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for one hundred and eighty days from that date.
