Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the court auctioneer shall apply to the Registrar in Form B for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees, and the Registrar shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
