Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the generating company shall apply to the Central Commission in Form VI for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees, and the Central Commission shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
