Application for registration.—Every owner of a mine carrying on the working of a mine shall make an application for registration to the Regional Controller of Mines in Form K, within three hundred and sixty-five days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees and a statement of every stock of minerals held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for forty-five days from that date.
