Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any user of a Government vehicle dies, his legal representative shall, within sixty days of the death, intimate the death to the Records Officer in Form 6, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every attendance register then held; and the Records Officer shall enter the intimation in the register within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
