Method of recruitment, age limit and other qualifications.—The method of recruitment to the post of Principal Sub-Inspector Of Police in the Home Department, Government of Uttarakhand shall be by promotion, failing which by direct recruitment; the age limit for direct recruits shall be thirty-two years, relaxable for Government servants up to five years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Government from time to time; and the essential qualification shall be a Master's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognised University.
