Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the Regional Board in the custody of the Welfare Officer, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Regional Board; and where the Welfare Officer having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form 16 within ten days of the succession.
