Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of a level crossing road shall apply to the Railway Claims Tribunal in Form E for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Railway Claims Tribunal shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
