Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of a fishing vessel shall apply to the Conservator of the Port in Form 1 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Conservator of the Port shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within twenty-one days of the application.
