Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any operator of a rural water supply scheme dies, his legal representative shall, within ninety days of the death, intimate the death to the Block Development Officer in Form 7, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every work order then held; and the Block Development Officer shall enter the intimation in the register within ninety days of its receipt.
