Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the open shelter shall apply to the Child Welfare Committee in Form VII for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees, and the Child Welfare Committee shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
