Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the manager of an institution shall apply to the Deputy Charity Commissioner in Form D for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Deputy Charity Commissioner shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
