Application for registration.—Every lessee of a village tank carrying on the leasing of a village tank shall make an application for registration to the District Collector in Form 2, within forty-five days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees and a statement of every assessment register held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for twenty-one days from that date.
