Surrender of certificate.—Every self-employed person who ceases to carry on the carrying on of a self-employed occupation shall, within ten days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Standing Committee in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 16 of the manner in which every register held by him has been disposed of.
