Surrender of certificate.—Every exporter who ceases to carry on the export of goods shall, within forty-five days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Authorised Officer in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form FC-4 of the manner in which every importer-exporter code held by him has been disposed of.
