Application for registration.—Every author carrying on the publication of works shall make an application for registration to the Plant Varieties Authority in Form TM-A, within one hundred and eighty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of twenty thousand rupees and a statement of every design held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fourteen days from that date.
